"...Fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, and over every living creature that moves on the ground." Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky, and all the creatures that move along the ground -- everything that has the breath of life in it -- I give every green plant for food." And it was so."
- Genesis 1:28-29

CORE VALUES
FAITH
By definition, faith is a noun that means to have complete trust and confidence in someone or something.
A noun, however, is inanimate and passive. Faith cannot be like this. In fact, the bible says in James 2:26 that “faith without deeds is dead.” Therefore, we must make faith a word of action – we must make faith a verb.
The bible tells us that God is perfect and all his ways are just. He is a faithful God, who does no wrong (Deuteronomy 32:4). Which means, every action, every word, and every promise God makes is good and true. In perfect faithfulness, he can and will do wonderful things. In fact, God wants to bless us! His love is unmeasurable, and it, along with His faithfulness is a gift. All He asks from us in return is our faith and our hearts, earnestly seeking him so that we may be rewarded.
At Redemption Survival, we understand that He is focused on us. Our vision is to create an environment of faith where we can focus on Him, increasing faithfulness and our relationship with God and the Holy Spirit.
“Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.” – Matthew 17:20
Our Goal/Vision
-
To deepen or create a relationship with God.
-
To force us to rely on faith in difficult and challenging situations.
-
To create a foundation of living a life of faith and applying it to our daily lives. Faith without works is dead.
-
To understand though faith, God wants what is best for us.
-
To instill the courage to ask for the seemingly impossible.
-
To believe that God has something bigger for you. Are you willing to accept it, even if it doesn't make sense or it means being uncomfortable?
-
to know that God can bring restoration and healing.
-
To create an environment where our faith out weights our fear. The things you fear the most are what you trust God with the least.
-
To learn to look at things through God's lens and receive the promises He has for you.
-
To simply return the faith, obedience and love God gives us.
STRENGTH
In any survival situation, where you draw your strength or “will to survive” from will directly determine your success or failure. The good news is that through His word, we are called to be strong and courageous and whether we know it or not, we are given strength.
Isaiah 40:29-31 says, “He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
At Redemption Survival, it is our intention to help you find your will to survive through Him. You will be tested, tried and challenged to your core, forcing you to dig deep and unlock the strength we are given.
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” – Joshua 1:9
Our Goal/Vision
-
Force you to draw strength from God.
-
Strengthen the relationship between God and the Holy Spirit.
-
Strengthen our faith.
-
Seek strength in what we are called to do. In doing so, we step outside of our comfort zone.
-
Strengthen our ability to persevere and succeed in challenging situations though Him.
-
Strengthen our confidence in success
-
Strengthen our knowledge of the power of the Holy Spirit and what we are created to do.
-
Overcome fear and ask the Holy Spirit for guidance, strength and courage.
-
Create the courage to give up the desires of the flesh and set our minds on the desires of the spirit.
GROWTH
Hard times can have us wondering, “Does God have a purpose for me?” If we take the easy path of a least resistance life, it hinders us from the life we are promised, and we may never know our potential. If we are in a perpetual state of comfort, we become stagnant, resist change and ultimately growth.
As Christians, we are called to grow and mature. A growing Christian will mature in their character, in their faith, and discover their spiritual gifts and put them into practice. While God gives us good things to enjoy, we aren’t called for a life of comfort, and we don’t live for the comforts of this world. In John 16:3, Jesus virtually promised we would have challenges. It’s important we don’t resist when we know God is calling us out of or comfort zones. God has a vision bigger than our own, and His plan is bigger than we can imagine.
At Redemption Survival, we encourage our participants to grow mentally, emotionally, relationally, and spiritually. Therefore, we will take you away from worldly comforts and replace them with spiritual ones, encouraging every person to take the next step in their relationship with God, getting out of their comfort zone and seeking growth and maturity as Christians.
“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.” - Romans 12:2.
Our Goal/Vision
-
To grow our relationship with God and the Holy Spirit via faith and spirituality.
-
Encourage us to grow into and understand what we are called to do.
-
Grow mentally, emotionally, and relationally, especially when it comes to God and the Holy Spirit.
-
To establish, develop and grow our foundation of faith.
-
To grow our confidence and ability to adapt, survive and overcome challenges.
AUTHORITY
Luke 10:19 says, “Behold I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
The bible says we are the body of Christ (1 Cor 12:27). Jesus is the head, and we are the body, and His authority is perpetuated though the body. When Jesus rose from the dead, He transferred His authority on earth to His body – the church. He declares all authority on Heaven and earth, which in turn, means us! Therefore, we have authority over earth, which by default, means we have authority over Satan, who’s goal to strip our authority (or make us feel powerless) by stealing, killing and destroying. The same power Jesus has is also available in us. It’s incumbent upon us to understand what “authority” is, know how to use it, and remember that it belongs to us.
We owe not only ourselves, but the world an opportunity to experience the power of God and an invitation to salvation because Jesus sent us into the world, just as the Father sent Him, in the power of the Holy Spirit.
“Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works that I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.” – John 14:12
Our Goal/Vision
-
Qualified to serve in God’s Kingdom.
-
Create wildly authentic prayers/dangerous prayers.
-
Create outrageous vision. Outrageous vision unveils outrageous miracles.
-
Authority to overcome sin and shame (rise up).
-
Jesus gave us power and spiritual gifts. Empower to use them.
-
Experience the authority of God, that he /we can overcome and bring restoration.
-
To take authority over our lives, don’t give in to the enemy or let him steal your truth.
SPIRITUALITY
A spiritual relationship with God involves knowing His heart, His character, and His love. Much like a child knows the voice of their mother or father, knowing God means that we are able to recognize His voice and feel His presence. When we know God, he doesn’t feel far away. Even when things get difficult in life, it means trusting the plan He has for us because he has proven to be trustworthy. He comes to us in Jesus Christ, in His teachings, in His cross, in His apostles, through His word and through the Holy Spirit. When we receive His communications, we are made alive to them. We are to admire them, delight in them, and to be hopeful, happy, and encouraged by them.
Much like any relationship however, it takes two, and that is only half. We are called to turn toward Him and show God the same trustworthiness he gives us. Similarly, through the word, through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirt, we give Him our prayers, acts of gratitude, obedience, and resolution to faith. We give God our life and we speak back. As He dwells in us as we dwell in Him.
At Redemption Survival, we encourage an environment where God speaks to you and you speak to Him. If you want to find out the person God wants you to be, you have to spend time with him. To live this way, we seek to practice a daily dependence on God’s Spirit for God-sized growth, God-shaped transformation, and God-led guidance.
“It is written, man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.” – Matthew 4:4
Our Goal/Vision
-
To seek a daily dependence on God.
-
Create an environment of prayer.
-
Position and posture ourselves for heavenly alignment though the process of prayer and fasting.
-
Posture ourselves to receive God’s Blessings.
-
Increase our ability to seek strength and guidance.
-
Create an environment where we can listen for God-led Guidance.
-
Release desires of the flesh and raise up in desires of the spirit.
COMMUNITY
From the beginning, we were not meant to be alone. Scripture doesn’t bring individual believers into a saving relationship with God. We were designed to be part of a community and it is required for an authentic life with God as He intended. As stated in Genesis 2:8, “It is not good for man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”
The quality of our lives is determined by the quality of our relationships. They allow us to know one another deeply and to be known. We truly experience the reality of Jesus Christ as we are in community with others who are seeking to know Him. Through intentional, authentic relationships, we share and encourage each other toward spiritual growth, develop strengthening friendships, and find accountability. Can you imagine if Jesus Christ lived life alone? His purpose would have still been fulfilled but think about how many lives would not have been impacted, or about all the miracles that would have been missed! We are one body – the church, born by the Spirit into a family, and we are unified by sharing one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and one Father of us all (Ephesians 4:5-6). Abiding in Christ is to abide in the body of Christ.
At Redemption Survival, we seek to establish authentic relationships that hold us accountable. Relationships that support each other, encourage each other, pray for each other, and that help each other see things that we haven’t seen before. Whether it’s unpacking scripture in ways we haven’t unpacked it before or hearing the Holy Spirit speaking to us through others, we seek to abide in Christ – and this means abiding in God’s Spirit, God’s Word, and God’s people.
“The way of the arrogant fool who rejects God’s wisdom is right in his own eyes, but a wise and prudent man is he who listens to council.” – Proverbs 12:15
