Hi, my name is Kevin and I'm a native of Virginia.  I am the founder and owner of Redemption Survival.  I have always enjoyed the outdoors and have spent much of my life traveling and sailing around the world.  Both personally and professionally, I am an enthusiast for hiking, camping, and all aspects of bush craft and wilderness survival.  Most people think I'm crazy, but I enjoy placing myself in survival scenarios for fun!  I am a devout husband, father, and son of God.

As a member of the armed forces, I had to learn how to live on the land, survive various isolating events with minimal gear, and perform self-rescues in the event that rescue forces were unavailable.

My passion, knowledge and expertise eventually led me to become a military survival instructor.  it was my responsibility to ensure each and every person, operating in all parts of the world,  could successfully apply taught skills in the field, often isolated and far from conventional forces.  Potentially alone, every person must know how to survive in order to return home safely.  Through extensive training, studying, and instructing, I qualified as a Master Training Specialist and am Wilderness First Aid certified.

Since my instruction began, I have imparted my knowledge and shared my skills with over 3,000 people worldwide.
